Today you turn 6 years old. It only seems like yesterday that I held you for the very first time. I gazed into those beautiful big blue eyes for hours and hours, still in misbelief that your Daddy and I had made something so perfect and so beautiful.
Now we are 6 years on and you still have that winning smile that grabs my heart.
You are so caring, you always have a cuddle ready and if your little bro is a little off source with teething, you hug him and play with him, just so considerate for others.
You are THE BEST big brother there could be. You play so nicely with your brother, making him laugh and teaching him new things.
You have so much patience too, especially when your little brother comes along and tries to own that thing you are holding (don’t worry he will soon learn to share)
You are so bright, I know I am biased but you really are. You pick up things so quickly. We are not even into a year of home schooling yet, but already you are exceeding expectations for your age.
You are cheeky, yes lots of this going on. But that is what makes you who you are, I wouldn’t change it for the world.
You are so funny, sometimes you are 6 going on 18, such an old head on your shoulders. And the dry sense of humour you have cracks me up. When we are out and about, you can make the shops stand still with your personality. You don’t do shy, you love a good natter, making people laugh, I love that in you. I know you will never struggle with confidence and you will strive to get wherever you want to be in life.
You are my star, you always will be. You may only hold my hand for a little while but you will hold my heart forever.
I love you so very much my gorgeous boy, to the moon and stars and back again, forever.

This is just beautiful. My son is 6 too and it’s such a wonderful age. He is the one teaching me at times, especially when it comes to anything like minecraft etc 🙂
