Family days out lead to great memories for all the family to enjoy, they are filled with new activities, newfound loves and much more. Although living in the moment is one of the best things about a family day out it’s also great to be able to remember them and something to keep to look back at. One of the most common ways to do this is with keepsakes and photos.
Having a way to remember the precious moments with your family is essential for many parents, let’s have a look at some of the different ways you can do this:
Photo Albums
Many people now choose to keep all their photos online and online print off a select few. If you really think about this way of keeping all your pictures though you will quickly realise that you never look back at the pictures and sometimes they even get lost. Why not visit Pixa Prints and print off all your favourite pictures from your days out or special occasions and start to create some photos albums for you and your family to flick through in the future. It’s a great project to sit and do together, where you can get the kids to build their own album with all their favourite moments from the days they want to remember. That is something that they can take with them when they grow older to share with their children and possibly continue the tradition. There is something not quite like flicking through physical photos rather than on a screen.
Collect Momentums
There are many families that like to buy a momentum when they take a trip somewhere, and it is a great way of remembering the great memories. Whether it’s a photo frame, a collection of pebbles from each beach, an ornament or something else, collecting these and showcasing them in your home is lovely. It fills your home with memories and really tells your families story. You could have a special shelf in your living room where you have all the items that you have collected. They will really show any guests your families story.
A Memory Box
A memory box is exactly what it says on the tin. You collect things that are related to memory and keep them in a special box. What you put in the box is personal to you and your family. The kids could even have their box to build on. You could place things such as photos, momentums, tickets and leaflets in the box to remember the days you have spent together. You could even create a scrapbook filled with all the different pieces for things such as holidays. Not only are they great for looking back on but they are a fantastic way of getting the children in touch with their creative, whilst enabling them to show you what they have learnt and loved about their experiences.
These are just three ways that you can remember your families days out, do you have any others that you can share in the comments below?
