A big part of blogging is using beautiful vibrant images amongst your content. Majority of the time you will use your own photos, but occasionally you just need that certain image to fit with your post. That’s where free stock photo resources for your blog are useful. A lot of these will probably be quite familiar, but I thought it would also come in handy for the newbie bloggers out there who are just starting out.
If you are new to blogging then whatever you do, do not use just any photo off the internet without first making sure you have permission to do so. If you are not careful, you might just end up with a massive fine.
Here are 10 lovely free and safe to use photo resource sites, enjoy!

Hi Jayne, I did use stock photos when I first started blogging, but now always use my own. I used to use a site called PhotoPin which had free images, but there were also ones you could pay for there too, which of course tended to be nicer.

Yes, I do prefer my own pics with the dslr, I only tend to use stock photos for posts like these, for general tips or tutorials.

Consider this bookmarked in my Free photo sites folder! I have found pixabay useful for my vector images for my graphic work that I’ve been doing for my blog header etc. I will go and check out the others next time I need something. #pocolo
