A crochet shower pouf, shower puff, scrubbie pattern.

It’s been really nice to take some time this month to get out the crochet hooks and make something new! I decided on making some crochet re-usable bathroom accessories that all of the family can use. I thought this crochet shower puff was a much greener version than the mesh pouf you see in the shops as it can be popped in the washer and used over and over again.

Cotton yarn is the go-to yarn for this project as it won’t lose its shape when washed and is ultra-soft against the skin. I used a cotton blend from my pretty pastels collection.

This pattern is in US terms.

Sl st – Slip Stitch
Sc – Single crochet
Dc – Double crochet
Ch – Chain

Firstly ch 5. Join with a sl st to make a ring. Ch 35 and sl st into the ring to make the little loop to hang your puff/shower scrunchie up with.

Round 1 – ch 1, 25 sc into the ring. Sl st in the first sc to join up. (25)

Round 2 – ch 2, 3 dc in each stitch around. Join up with a sl st to the top of the first dc. (75)

Round 3 – ch 2, 3 dc in each stitch around. Join with a sl st to the top of the first dc. (225)

You can stop at this point, but if you would much prefer a bigger puff then continue with round 4.

Round 4 – ch 2, 3 dc in each stitch around. Join with a sl st to the top of the first dc. (675)
