We recently had a lovely family break at Brean Sands. After discussing the possiblity of getting a caravan, we fianally took the plunge.  I am so glad that we did! It was one huge adventure from start to finish for Monkey, he smiled from ear to ear throughout the week.

The convenience of just being able to take off when you want to and where you want to is fantastic.

We decided to stay at Warren Farm Holiday Centre. They had everything on site that you could possibly need. From a children’s outdoor play area with swings, a play barn and an amusement arcade where Monkey enjoyed the 2p coin dozers.
It has excellent facilities including a laundrette, which was absolutely spotless, toilets and showers which were also equally as clean.

There was also an onsite shop for convenience, an ice cream shop and a takeaway.

The pitches had ample space and the fields were immaculately clean. Appointed fields are pet-friendly too which means we can take our staffy boy along with us.
If you are a keen fisherman they have a lake to fish on site along with a tackle and bait shop for all of your bits and bobs.

The Beachcomber is the clubhouse at Warren farm. It has great entertainment and has the best menu that is sure to satisfy! My husband had the mixed grill which was absolutely massive! Monkey had spaghetti bolognese and polished it all off.  I had lasagne and salad which was amazing! The staff on shift were super friendly and so welcoming.

The sun was out pretty much all weekend so we set off to Weston beach to enjoy it.
Unknown to us there was an airshow display which was brilliant. Monkey loved watching the huge Vulcan fly right overhead and the aerobatics and stunts.

We then took a nice stroll along the seafront where the waters were surprisingly warm on our toes, and headed towards the Grand Pier. It cost us £1.00 each to get onto the pier obviously on route via the doughnuts store first. Once on the pier, we walked around the amusement arcade where Monkey was in his glory!

All in all, there was lots to see and do and we enjoyed our little break in Brean. We will certainly return one day in the near future.
All of that fun made one very sleepy Monkey!
