AD | Where To Shop For Fun And Unique Kids’ Birthday Presents

Our eldest recently celebrated his 12th Birthday and as the date approached, friends and family all wanted to know what to get him. Obviously, like most children, he had a list of things that he had his eye on, so we were able to share some suggestions of fun kids’ birthday presents with close family. However, sometimes it’s just nice to lead people to a website and ask them to get a gift that they choose themselves. Not only does this allow for a bit of variety with the actual birthday gifts, but it also allows people to choose their own price point so they don’t feel pressured to overspend.

We love Wicked Uncle when it comes to finding fun kids’ presents. Not only does Wicked Uncle have a huge selection of awesome toys to choose from, but they also have a little something to suit every budget. From pocket money toys to super special presents, I always manage to find something different and unique to gift to my boys, knowing that it will be loved for many years to come.

I like the simplicity of the website. It’s easy to navigate and the handy filter lets you choose the exact age that you are shopping for as well as what interests they have. It helps narrow the search down to provide a unique gift that is perfectly suited to your child. It’s fab!

Here are just a handful of reasons why I think Wicked Uncle is such a fantastic store to shop for fun kid’s birthday presents.

Amazing sensory gifts for kids

Sensory toys are brilliant for children with autism and sensory processing disorders. Sensory toys can help these children to learn how to regulate their emotions and improve their social skills, as well as calming them down when they are agitated or overstimulated.
My youngest loves light stimulation so things that change colour really soothe him, especially when it comes to bedtime.
Wicked Uncle has lots of sensory toys for fun light-up gloves, a colour changing jellyfish lamp, fidget toys and much more.

STEM presents for kids

We are a big fan of STEM toys. They help develop problem-solving skills, motor skills as well as cognitive skills. STEM toys also encourage children to explore their curiosity and creativity and help them develop skills that will be valuable in the future. But most important of all, they are really fun!
Wicked Uncle has lots of super fun STEM toys for all ages.

Toys to get kids outdoors

We get outdoors as much as possible. There’s nothing like fresh air and playing outdoors. I used to spend hours playing outdoors as a child and my two are no different.
One of the best benefits of playing outdoors is that it helps children develop their physical skills. This includes gross motor skills such as running and climbing, fine motor skills such as catching or throwing a ball and hand-eye coordination.
It’s also great for mental health and helps to prize kids from those screens that they love so much! Wicked Uncle has lots of toys to encourage kids outside such as giant bubble blowing sets, kites, flying rockets, giant bouncy balls and other cool toys to enjoy over the summer months.

I hope you enjoy shopping at Wicked Uncle as much as we do!
