Spending more time at home does have its advantages. It means we can get on with those jobs that need doing around the house and have more time to carry out home improvement projects.
The kitchen is on our to-do list so I thought I would share some decor ideas that we like.
Pop Of Colour
Adding a pop of colour to a kitchen gives it an instant new lease of life. If you are not brave enough to paint the whole kitchen a new colour you could create a feature wall instead. I think this shade of deep royal blue looks amazing against the chrome fixtures.

Island Storage
I have always wanted an island in my kitchen. They not only look aesthetically pleasing but they are fantastic for extra storage too. Companies such as https://thegalleryruncorn.co.uk/runcorn_kitchens.html. can help with the whole process of a newly fitted kitchen. From design to installation, they can soon create your dream space.

A Wall Display
If you have the space you could have a display unit for your kitchen plates, accessories and so on. I think they make beautiful focal points and really give the room a homely vibe. Again, creating a feature wall with a bold colour scheme behind can really make a statement.

Stylish Lighting
Finish off the look with some stylish low level lighting. Ideal to hang over islands for a cosy yet on-trend feel. I love these oversized white round shades with a steel inner. Very contemporary indeed.
Eye-Catching Tiles
There are so many beautiful tiles to choose from the options are endless. I really like the metro style tile and these are quite similar just without the bevelled surface. Using slightly different shades with added textured patterns creates a really cool splashback.

Do you have any plans to redecorate your kitchen?

I love an island in the middle of the kitchen, mum has one and her kitchen is amazing. I love a bright kitchen too.
