As a Rainbow Awards Toy Tester we were really excited to be testing Spin-Masters Kinetic Sand.
What you get
A Sand Box, x4 Colourful Molds (A Castle, A terrapin, a Seahorse and a Fish) and of course 454g of purple kinetic Sand.
The Getting Stuck in Bit
Monkey thought this was fascinating, mind you so did I!. It binds together and sticks to itself resulting in no spillage or mess. It really is quite clever, it flows through your fingers almost fluid like and remains moist without drying out. You can mold it with ease just like you would with damp sand. This makes excellent sensory play for little hands to explore, and has bright vibrant colours giving this the fun factor for any child and inspires children’s creativity. Monkey made lots of weird and wonderful things including *His words* “A BIG Dinosaur, Roarrrrrrr”!. :).
Although this does not come with a storage solution once opened, it is recommended to be stored in a sealed container or perhaps a grip seal bag to keep it clean. It is suitable for 3 Years+. Simply an Awesome idea with hours of fun to be had, Kinetic sand is definitely a Thumbs up from us!.
