As with majority of parents I am sure, tea times can be a little hectic. From deciding on what to have, giving yourself enough time to prepare and that is without adding a little homework and play into the mix!
I personally find it easier to have a well stocked freezer full of variety to make tea times more fun. Even though I do use fresh produce and ingredients, it doesn’t always need to be prepared from scratch to ensure healthy food.

A nice surprise of £20.00 worth of vouchers landed on my doorstep to go and shop for some yummy Birdseye products for our tea time.
It really is quite surprising the wide range of foods Birdseye now have out there. It’s not just about the fish fingers! Oh no, there are some really tasty numbers to choose from. Rice Infusions come in a variety of flavours and make an excellent accompaniment to your meal. Field fresh vegetables are flavoursome and come in an awesome zip sealed bag, preventing those moments when you’re rummaging through your freezer drawer only to find those escaped rebel peas or beans hiding at the bottom!
Contributing to your 5 a day
At tea time Monkey helps get his favourite character kids cutlery out. He attentively watches mommy cook up some homely grub! If it’s hands on then Monkey loves to get involved and helps prep. He loves teatime and me being a child at heart will make his dinner into all sorts of cool things at Monkeys request! Even dinosaurs (Obviously not to scale!) It makes dinners more appealing and makes him giggle so that’s good enough for me.

Birdseye is such a lifesaver sometimes. The kids love it and it does make mealtimes so much easier to prepare for the kids. I might need to start getting more creative with the kids dinner. These creations are so cute
