The kids and I love shopping for Father’s Day gifts for Craig and my dad. There are so many fab things to choose from. I have put together this little guide full of gift ideas that will hopefully inspire you.
I understand that this time of year can be particularly tough for those who sadly don’t have their dad here to celebrate with. I will be keeping you all in my thoughts.

For the dad that loves coffee

If dad has a sweet tooth and loves coffee,  then he will be over the moon with this super tasty coffee and cake hamper from Meg Rivers Artisan Bakery. Their hampers, cakes, coffee and tray bakes are out of this world! And will make a lovely treat for someone this Father’s Day.
They come beautifully presented and truly make a luxurious gift for someone special.

We have recently discovered Build Your Own – cardboard activity kits and we love them so much that we are now a blogger ambassador!
These fun kits are a lovely project for dad and the kids to get stuck into and a fab way to spend some quality time together.

For the ‘big kid’ dad

You are never too old to enjoy Haribo sweets! They never last long in our house, that’s a certain fact. You get a huge selection in this Haribo Starmix gift box. I think it is the perfect size to share with the kids, or maybe not if dad wants them all to himself! Haha.

For daddy cool!

Now that summer is here and we are able to get out a little more than before, now is the perfect time to add to the summer wardrobe! Mainline Menswear have every item possible from thousands of leading clothing brands. This green converse t/shirt will go fab with some cargo or denim shorts.
I love the combat patterned Boss socks too. Both are fantastic value! Both come to just under £25!

Men's clothing
I don’t think you can go wrong with sliders. Not only are they fab for the beach but they are great for wearing around home too which is ideal for the times we are currently living in. I love the floral design on these. It’s so nice to be able to choose from some colourful patterns rather than just your standard plain black or blue’s that men’s sliders generally come in.
They are available in small, medium and large.

I think board games are a fab way to bring the family together and Ideal have some lovely games that everyone can enjoy. Compendium is full to the brim with classic board games that dad probably played as a child. With over 100 games there are hours of fun to be had.
Shake Off is not only fun but is a perfect way to burn off some calories, so perfect if dad has been overindulging during lockdown. It will have everyone in fits of laughter.

For the dad with a sweet tooth

As far as rocky road bakes go, there is nothing that comes close to Mummy Meagz Sea Salt and Honeycomb Rocky Road bars, in my opinion. They are packed with honeycomb chunks, smothered with Belgian chocolate and topped with fluffy marshmallows.
Suitable for vegans and those who follow a  gluten-free diet.

Vintage Roots has a huge collection of wines to choose from. There are mixed cases, gift-boxed wines and much more. They also have beer, cider and spirits if dad is not so keen on wine. There is also the option of alcohol-free drinks so there really is a little something for everyone.

  2. My wife loves puzzles, well I think she does she’s always having ‘cross’ words with me.

  3. My hubby has really gotten into crosswords during lock down. Previously, he couldn’t be bothered, but now, he loves them! It makes him even more proud that there is a name for people who do crosswords – cruciverbalist. I think he intends to pop that into every conversation he has once we can get out and about again ‘Oh yes, well I’m a cruciverbalist…’

  4. Love a good puzzle book (or 3)… now all I need is a nice weekend away to relax over a crossword!

  5. A lovely selection of items. It’s good to see that Vintage Wines offer vegan wines and having tried Mummy Meagz chocolate, it would be nice to try other products in the range. This prize looks very interesting especially given that it includes a Sherlock Holmes puzzle book – definitely a bonus!
