We have recently been putting the Wow baby cup to the test.
This particular one is the baby training cup for 9mths +.
It’s a little different from the average sippy cup as it doesn’t have a spout.
It works with a valve system, where baby sucks on the rim of the cup and the fluid flows between the silicone valve and the ring valve.
It automatically closes after drinking so no spilling, which is a good thing for us as little man likes to shake it. It also comes with a lid too.
Little man grasped the handles really easily and picked up the cup with little effort. He did get the general gist of how to drink from the cup, however he is used to spouts, so the transition may take a little longer in our case. He did get a few sips on occasions, and got a bit frustrated at times, but I think with a few more uses he will get the hang of it.
I also love how you can get the same kind of idea for older children in a beaker form.
These are recommended from 12Mths onwards, right up to older kids. I am definitely going to invest in one for big monkey, he’s 5 yrs. He thinks these are ‘super cool’. Great for out and about and playing outside.
We think they are a fab idea and if you like what you see, you can purchase these at Amazon for £9.92

looks great, i think my L needs one of those
These look like such a great idea….It’s so cool they do cups for older kids too x
What an interesting idea! I quite like that they don’t have a spout, and are more like drinking from a traditional cup. Expensive for a cup though!
