If there was such thing as a ‘Worry Bank’ then mine would have had thousands of deposits since having my two boys. As a parent, you tend to want to wrap them up in cotton wool and shut out all of the goings on around them. Saying that, I do want my boys to experience as much about life as possible. I want to prepare them for the big wide world. I want them to be free and enjoy many adventures during their lifetime.
I often fear for their future if I am honest. What will they do without me? What if something happens to their Dad? Craig underwent a heart transplant back in 2014 and along with that comes uncertainty of the future. I hate to even think about that, but as much as it hurts, it is a reality. I don’t want to sound too morbid, but none of us know when we could leave this world. That is why we live life to the fullest. Every day we grateful. We are grateful for waking up to hear the birds morning chorus. We are grateful to see the gorgeous sunrise that greets us. We are grateful to have one another, to love and to cherish for as long as we are together.
That’s why it is so important to have a Will in place for the inevitable. I would like to think that I will leave behind a whole lot of knowledge from my experiences that my boys can take snippets from and use it to get where they want to be in life. I will be making sure they are both financially sound so they can have the very best start in adulthood.

My main aim is to encourage my boys to follow their dreams. If they feel really passionate about something then go for it! If they remember this when I am not around, then I know they will go far.
