Hands up who loves Halloween! I’ve got to admit, being a bit of a horror buff, this is one of my favourite times of the year. The TV fills up with all sorts of spooky goodness, and I get to watch The Lost Boys for the millionth time (still an absolute classic, IMO).
And of course, the kids get ridiculously excited to pick pumpkins, dress up, and eat their weight in sweets! It’s also that time of year when we share our Halloween gift guide, packed with little finds and spooky treats, to make the season even more fun.
Harry Potter Invisibility Cloak
Nothing gets you into the Halloween spirit quite like a bit of Harry Potter magic! The Junior Invisibility Cloak from Wow! Stuff lets kids recreate one of the most iconic moments from the films disappearing before your very eyes. With a clever app that makes the wearer vanish on screen, it’s a fun mix of tech and imagination. Lightweight and easy to use, it’s great for spooky dress-up, trick-or-treat adventures, or just everyday wizarding fun at home.

Harry Potter Tom Riddle’s Diary
Another fab Harry Potter goody is Tom Riddle’s Diary Notebook with Pen & UV Torch. This leather-effect journal comes with a sly Slytherin-themed “invisible ink” pen and a UV wand that reveals hidden messages only when you shine the light. Kids can slip secret notes in, scribble mysterious spells, or just feel like they’re carrying their own piece of wizard lore — without needing a Time-Turner.

Awesome Friendly Spooky Stories By Rowley Jefferson
Rowley Jefferson’s Awesome Friendly Spooky Stories is a great pick. It’s a fun collection of weird, ghosty, and vampire-style tales, all told in Rowley’s lighthearted, comic-style voice that’s just the right balance of silly and spooky. Kids can curl up under a blanket, flip on a torch, and enjoy the creepy fun tales.

Peter’s Halloween Peek-a-Boo! By Beatrix Potter
If your child loves gentle Halloween fun rather than full-on spookiness, Peter Rabbit: Peter’s Halloween Peek-A-BOO! is a perfect pick. This is a lift-and-find board book where Peter ventures through the forest on his way to a Halloween party and on every page there’s a flap hiding a little surprise. The illustrations are charming, the flaps are sturdy (great for little hands), and the surprises are just spooky enough to delight without scaring. Add this to your guide as a sweet, interactive read to bring gentle Halloween vibes to younger readers.

Ghost Castle
Who had this as a child? I did and my boys have it too! Ghost Castle from Ideal is one of those timeless Halloween treasures that delivers big suspense for the whole family. You build a spooky castle board, roll a ghost die, and watch as a glow-in-the-dark ghost triggers trapdoors, axes, and rolling balls to send players backwards.
It’s half skill, half luck and entirely thrilling, especially when someone lands on a danger square and poof gets knocked off course.
This is loads of fun and not only can it be played as board game, it’s fun for general playtime too.

Playmobil Figures
The PLAYMOBIL Special Plus Witch with Cat is a lovely little Halloween pick. She comes with a broom, hat, and her trusty feline familiar, and the cat’s head and tail even move.
What makes this kind of figure extra special? They’re inexpensive, so they’re great for stocking up or gifting without breaking the bank, and they slot right into whatever Playmobil world your child already has. Add a witchie companion to a castle, a town, or a monster scene, and voila — Halloween magic everywhere.

Halloween Crafts With Baker Ross
We absolutely love Baker Ross and all their crafty bits, especially when Halloween rolls around! Their Halloween section is full of spooky-good fun and creativity, from foam ghosts and paper bats to full craft kits and decorations.
One great pick in this year’s guide is the Halloween Craft-It! Box from Baker Ross. It’s a ready-to-go kit packed with fun projects for kids to make. so kids can dive straight into making decorations, masks, party pieces and whatever their imagination demands. No need to source dozens of bits yourself, Baker Ross does the hard part. It’s perfect for keeping little hands busy during Halloween, and they can decorate the house once finished.

Cheap And Cheerful Decorations
Poundland have some brilliant little bits in this year for Halloween crafting! I’ve picked out a few of their fun balloon packs and wreath-making kits, perfect for keeping the kids busy and getting the house looking spooky. They’re simple, affordable, and a great way for little ones to join in the decorating without too much mess or effort.

Halloween Treats!
If you’re on the hunt for a fun and tasty treat for Halloween, you have to check out the Halloween Popcorn Bundle from Popcorn Shed! This spooky little trio comes with three mouth-watering flavours — Toffee Apple, Toasted Marshmallow, and Pecan Pie all packed up in the brand’s signature mini “shed” boxes that are almost too cute to open. The colours, flavours, and packaging scream Halloween fun, making them perfect for gifting, sharing at a party, or munching on during a scary movie night. It’s sweet, a little bit spooky, and totally delicious, everything you want this Halloween!

Is it even Halloween without sweeties?! Haribo is a total must-have when it comes to trick-or-treating or spooky movie nights. From the classic Tangfastics to their special Halloween-themed mixes filled with gummy skeletons, bones and more, there’s something for everyone. The treat bags are perfect for handing out to little visitors or to add to a Halloween party spread or Boo bag.

I love this list with Harry Potter and other ghostly silliness. I have never heard of Ghost Castle but I’d have loved it as a child. Great fun! #MMBC
These are some really cute products! My boys would have loved those Harry Potter gifts when they were younger.
Some cool Halloween products. People don’t seem to celebrate it as much as they used to, had no trick or treaters knock my door this year. Nor last year I don’t think
I will definitely be checking out that Peter Rabbit storybook and the Playmobile set! Such great additions to Halloween fun! Thanks, Jayne!
I like Halloween but not for the horror films. I’m too much of a scaredy cat. hehehe
I love the Harry Potter things. I haven’t seen Tom Riddle’s Diary before.

This post is such a fun mix of nostalgia and new‑season magic. I love how it swings from wizarding mischief to crafty chaos to full‑on retro thrills — Ghost Castle alone unlocks a whole vault of childhood memories. And the Popcorn Shed flavours?
