laptop on bench working outside

Hello and welcome to this week’s #MMBC! Thanks so much for joining in, whether that be linking up or having a cosy read!
Well, I’ve spent most of the weekend taking things at a snail’s pace after somehow managing to do my back in. Thank goodness for the electric heat pad we have for my eldest’s Crohn’s flare-ups! Not quite how I’d planned to spend the weekend, but it did give me the perfect excuse to indulge in a bit of gaming, finish a long-overdue crochet project, and finally tackle my Mac after getting fed up with the gazillion files cluttering up my desktop. Oh, I do know how to live on the edge! Haha.

Fingers crossed there’ll be a lot less hobbling around and a lot more normality this week!
What have you been up to?

Features of the Week

Jennifer shared another fab crafty post, this time making labels for Barbie groceries. I always enjoy her retro toy posts and love seeing the ideas she comes up with.

Carol shared some lovely ideas for creating a shady spot in the garden. It’s the perfect time to start thinking about comfortable places to sit outside and enjoy the garden without melting in the sunshine!

Have a lovely week, everyone. x

  2. Oh no! I hope your back gets better soon. Electric heat pads are the best. I am so glad I got one recently. Well, I am glad you got to play games and working on your crochet project. The desktop of my mac is resembling a forest as well. Take care.

  4. Hi, Jayne. At the beginning of this post you mentioned your oldest having Crohn’s. I am sorry. I, too, experience the same. For the past 40+ years, I’ve learned how to live with the symptoms and flare-ups.

I do want to say thank you for entertaining me! I shared link #18. Off to visit other links.
    Have a better week (hugs).

  5. I hope you back is feeling better soon. It’s alarming how easy it is to hurt those muscles nowadays.. I refuse to say it’s a sign of getting older even though I’m pretty sure age definitely has something to do with it.
