In my garden working in the sun

Morning, and welcome to this week’s #MMBC, and the first one of June! I hope you’ve all had a lovely weekend.
It has felt more like July here lately, with temperatures soaring and me actually living in shorts for a change! I’ve been making the most of it and spending as much time outside as possible, whether that’s reading, listening to an audiobook, or just enjoying a cuppa in the garden.

Of course, it wouldn’t be British weather without a bit of drama. We had two huge thunderstorms roll through last week, complete with enormous hailstones that had us all running to the windows to watch. One minute it was blazing sunshine, the next it looked like winter had arrived.

The boys are now counting down the weeks until summer, and I’m starting to think about all the little things I’d like us to do over the holidays. I’m digging deep to find something to look forward to.
Anyway, enough of my waffling. Let’s get into this week’s features and see what everyone has been up to.

Features of the Week

Lisa shared another one of her interesting days out, this time visiting Givat Humra. I always enjoy reading about the places she visits because I learn so much, and this one was no exception.

Kim shared a fun post about her gardening confessions, and the things she pretends to know about gardening. I think whether you’re a complete novice or have been gardening for years, we’re all still learning something new all the time.

Thanks so much for joining in, whether that be linking up or having a cosy read! Have a lovely week, everyone. x

Welcome to the Monday Morning Blog Club!

If you’re new here, a big warm welcome to our lovely group! Monday Morning Blog Club is a weekly blog linky for bloggers to share their blog homepages.

Simply pop your blog’s homepage link below, and our friendly community will visit and choose which posts they’d like to read and comment on. (Please don’t link to individual blog posts — homepage links only!)

We kindly ask that you take a moment to visit and comment on at least a couple of other blogs. It’s all about sharing the love and supporting each other.

I’ll be visiting everyone’s blogs over the next couple of days, and I can’t wait to have a read! This is a fantastic way to boost your blog’s visibility, discover amazing content, and make new friends along the way.

  1. I hear that England had very unsually warm weather recently. We often get hailstorms in our area–not fun for the garden or for car windshields if the hairlstones are large! Thansk for hosting and have a very Happy Month of June!
