Happy Monday and welcome to this week’s #MMBC. I hope you’ve all had a relaxing weekend. Well, the saying ‘ when the sh!t hits the fan” really did come to life in our house at the weekend! You may remember that we had trouble last week with the drains that link to the cesspit. Well, they backed up and released all over my downstairs bathroom floor and beyond. So I had the lovely job of cleaning that up and bleaching everything within an inch of its life. Plus a new carpet had to be fitted on the hall outside. With that said, the plumber is out to investigate this week, so hopefully, we will get a resolution.
On a brighter note and a much better smelling one! We spent lots of time outside and did more work on the garden. Progress is being made so that will do me. How was your weekend?

Feature Of The Week
This week’s feature is Laurie from Meditations In Motion and her post – 3 Thoughts About Crossing the Finish Line. Laurie is a keen runner and has a lovely way of telling a story in her posts. I loved this particular post as she tied it in with the current COVID situation and how we aren’t actually over the finish line as yet. I thought it was very apt as the restrictions lift a little here. We may all live at different points on the globe but we are all facing the same struggles when it comes to the pandemic.

Oh no! Septic tanks are fun. We had the same happen soon after we moved into our current home. Next time, I’m adding it to the contract that the tank is cleaned before I take the keys. Hope you get passed the horrible stage soon and sort out the problem too.
oh wow, I certainly don’t envy you with that job. I hope the drains are sorted out quickly, what a nightmare. Glad you had some sunny time in the gardern though.

Eek! It doesn’t sound much fun with the drains. My dad had the same problem a couple of months ago. The clean up is no fun at all.
