Weekly meal planning ideas for families

It’s time for another meal plan. I’ve actually got around to posting this week after a crazy busy couple of weeks. Do you ever have those weeks where you don’t know your arse from your elbow? Thankfully I’m back on track and feeling organised once again. Not sure how long it will last but hey ho!

This is what our meal plan is looking like for this week.

Monday –  Meatball and garlic bread traybake.

Tuesday – Stuffed cheese and ham tortellini with tomato and mascarpone cheese sauce. An inexpensive dinner that we all enjoy.

Wednesday –  Hearty vegetable crumble. This will be the first time I’ve tried this one and I’m really looking to it. This will count as one of our meat-free meals for the week.

Thursday – Dominos takeaway. Today is Jayden’s birthday and he has requested a Dominos lunch for his special day. I can’t wait for him to open his presents! Bring on the birthday celebrations.

Friday –  Keema curry pie.

Saturday –  Fish and chips. It’s going to be a chip shop tea for us today. It’s been ages since we had one so why not!

Sunday – Toad in the hole. I love toad in the hole, it’s such a comforting dinner isn’t it?!  I’m going to be using my favourite caramelised onion sausages from Asda, they are amazing! And not forgetting super thick gravy on top.

What do you have planned to eat?

  4. Thanks for sharing the vegetable crumble recipe. I am going to try it. I must have missed it on Kim’s blog. I AM going to substitute spinach for kale, though. Not a fan of kale. 🙂
