A really easy peasy DIY button bouquet, that not only looks cute but can be made to coordinate with colour schemes throughout your home.
I used a pastel mix.
All you need is
✿ A selection of different size buttons
✿ Floral wire
✿ Plyers & Wire cutters
Plenty of places sell floral wire, I got mine from hobbycraft for 80p. Just remember not to go too thick as you need it to be able to thread through the button holes. If you don’t already have your own buttons then you can get these from there too for £1.00 a bag in loads of different colours, shapes and sizes.
1. Firstly cut the lengths of wire into halves and bend the ends slightly.
2. Then thread your chosen buttons, upto 4, with the top one going on first.
3. Then pass the hook end through the opposite holes and twist underneath with your plyers until tight and secure.
4. Repeat until you are happy with the quantity.
5. Recycle an old jar by funking it up with a ribbon or piece of hessian and now you have a perfect holder for your bouquet and cheap as chips!

What a brilliant craft idea and so simple too – we do a similar thing with pipe cleaners and cupcake cases with the buttons which works well too but I like the idea of using florists wire and layering the buttons 🙂 #MMBC

That’s really cute! I can imagine someone using one for a wedding bouquet, or table decorations. I have hundreds of buttons from a button buying binge on eBay a few years ago – I might give this a go! #mmbc
