With the return of the little yellow fellas and Despicable Me 3, we thought we would celebrate with a Minion craft. We love the Minions in our house and thought what we are about to make, is a nice and easy craft to follow and what better way to cool down other than with a Minion Paper Plate Fan?!
What You Will Need
X1 Paper Plate
Blue Black and Grey Card/Paper
Glue
Yellow Paint
X3 Lollipop/Popsicle Sticks
Scissors
Firstly cut your paper plate in half and paint it yellow. Whilst you wait for the dry you can get on with cutting out the goggles and the waistband. I used a roll of washi tape as a template for my goggles and cut them out with a craft knife.
Stick your googly eyes and goggles on to the plate and trim any excess card away.
Glue on your waistband and draw a mouth with a black sharpie.
To stick the lollipop/popsicle sticks together I used my glue gun for a better bond. I used 3 sticks as these are just standard sized and not the jumbo ones, so it helps to reinforce the fan when your little one wafts away! Then simply stick it to the back of the fan and that’s your fan finished.

Minions was the first film my kids saw in the cinema and so they have a strong attachment to it. Now the weather is. warming up, this is a great idea.
