Customer service. Man making a phone call.

Whether you have shopped online with a store or visited a branch, customer service should always be readily available should you ever need it. It is what a company should build its reputation on. Good customer service is what enables us to trust a brand and want to go back to purchase goods again and again.

What Is Good Customer Service?

To me, good customer service is having a multitude of options to contact the brand, such as a direct telephone number, and if this cannot be located you can use websites such as https://contactcustomerservicesnumber.co.uk/ who have an extensive collection of useful numbers to hand. Online chat that is accessible daily is one of my favourite ways to get in touch with my query.

One of my best customer service experiences was when my son dropped his LeapPad which resulted in a cracked screen. I got in touch with their customer service department and I have to say they were absolutely brilliant. They listened to my issue, they arranged for me to send the product back to their repairs centre (free of charge) and replaced it with a brand new model. The agent was polite, friendly and went above and beyond to resolve the matter. I was really grateful and my son was over the moon to have his new LeapPad in his hands only days after! Now that’s how customer service should be. As a result of that, I would return to Leapfrog and purchase their products with confidence, knowing that they really are loyal to their customers.

CCSN recently ran a survey #Telephone101 of what people expect from a customer service phone call. This fab infographic rounds up the results.
