It’s that time of year again where we search for gifts that our little ones will love, but with so many fab toys out there to choose from, it can all become a little too overwhelming! That’s why I’ve put a guide together full of Christmas gift ideas for kids. I hope it comes in handy!

BoomTrix reminds me of a marble run but only more awesome! Set up the marble track and using gravity alone, create races and special stunts by utilising the trampolines and launch towers!
I think this is fab as it’s not only fun but it’s educational too. Great for putting the imagination to work and lots of opportunities for problem-solving too. The options really are endless with BoomTrix and I know my eldest would be absolutely mad about this for sure.

Who doesn’t love The Gruffalo? The snap card game just got cuter with these beautifully illustrated cards, showcasing little ones favourite characters. I think this adorable Gruffalo snap game from Milly & Flynn would make a perfect stocking filler or a fab addition to a Christmas Eve box.

We love our Disney movies and I can often be caught singing a theme track with my boys. One of our favourites in our house is the song that was on Moana – You’re welcome! That is such a catchy one isn’t it?! Now That’s What I Call Disney is like a dream come true for Disney fans. It is absolutely crammed with Disney tunes that we all know and love. I think this will be getting a lot of play for some time to come!

Everybody loves Bing, well we do! And this adorable plush Talking Bing has over 15 fun phrases. Little ones can press his button to interact with their favourite TV character. He is super soft too so perfect to use as a bedtime buddy! A must-have for all little Bing fans this Christmas.

Dessineo from Jumbo is fab for aiding little ones to learn how to draw.  It sparks the imagination and allows children to get creative. Included are 10 A4 drawing backgrounds, 30 drawing templates and a black marker pen. A lovely gift for budding little artists.

Every time someone farts in our house the kids are in hysterics! Is that just our house or do your kids laugh at the sound of a windy bum? Whoopee Doo from John Adams is the best game to get out at Christmas when family and friends pop by. Each player takes it turns to sit on the Whoopee Cushion and play out their card before the whoopee cushion lets one off!

Introduce STEM in a super fun way with the app-controlled football Robot Sphero. Recommended for 8+ years, children can learn to code by playing lots of awesome games. Have total control of the robot by using your device to roll the ball, tilt it and more. Its compact size makes it perfect to take along when out and about so the fun never stops!

Another family-friendly game to enjoy is Burger Party from Goliath. Such a fun fast-paced game that all of the family can take part in. You have to use your super quick skills to match cards that are then used as your ingredients to build a burger. It’s a race against time to build something epic!

The Animagic Scoot is a gorgeous interactive pet toy dog that will be loved by all this Christmas. Call his name and he responds by coming to you. He loves to go for a walk on his little lead, he responds to fuss by wagging his tail and he loves his head stroked too. Scoot is so cute and I know my youngest would never put this down! I think this fluffy little guy is going to be on a lot of Christmas lists this year.

Unlike the fast-paced games, Super Slow Sloths from Ginger Fox is all about laziness, dawdling and daydreaming! Use the action cards to snooze, sabotage and saunter your way to victory. Be the last player to pass slowly across the finish line to be crowned the slowest moving sloth!

Ever since Moon and Me started on Cbeebies my youngest has been hooked. It is a really pleasant series and perfect to wind down to as bedtime draws near. Thanks to Jumbo Games little ones can enjoy their favourite characters on the show whilst practising hand and eye coordination and problem-solving as they build these fun and colourful Moon and Me puzzles.

Slap Ninja is a fun fast-paced action game. Defend the Ninja Master’s precious stone by using his giant karate chop slap! The first player to defeat their opponent is the winner! I love this modern version of the classic game slaps. It really is all about who has the fastest reflexes.

Roblox! Does anybody else out there have children that are obsessed with Roblox? My eldest LOVES pretty much anything Roblox and especially these playsets. In each themed pack there are two figures and lots of little detailed accessories. There is also the Series 5 Mystery Figure boxes which make great stocking fillers. Roblox is definitely a firm favourite in our house and I’ve noticed that some Roblox toys have been mentioned in Jayden’s letter to Santa this year.

Don’t rock the boat, rock the boat baby! Now I have that song in my head for the rest of the day.
Hold your nerve whilst playing Don’t rock the Boat from Interplay and keep a steady hand to prevent the boat from rocking! Take your turn to strategically place one of 16 penguin crew on the boat without making it tip over. I can’t wait to play Don’t Rock the Boat game this Christmas! I think the boys will love it, especially my youngest who loves anything pirate related!

We are huge fans of Learning Resources and have lots of their educational toys both for play and for incorporating into our home schooling. This Pretend & Play Calculator Cash Register is a fab way to introduce little ones to maths and money recognition. It comes complete with pretend euros,  a pretend credit card and notebook. With realistic sounds and a solar-powered calculator, children will learn through play and will be able to let their imaginations run wild as they pretend to be a shopkeeper or maybe a florist! The possibilities are endless.

Foodie Roos from John Adams are cute collectables that smell and feel like their favourite foods! Each one has it’s own unique smell, such as lemon, cookies, popcorn and more. They come in their own little tub which converts to a little Foodie Roos home. As with most collectables, there are super rare ones to look out for too!

Take it in turns to hang fruit and jungle friends on the orangutan. But be careful! He could flip at any time and send the fruit and jungle friends flying in the air! This game doesn’t take batteries so play can start straight away! There’s lots of family fun to be had with OranguTwang from Interplay and we can’t wait to ‘hang out’ together and play it!

Oh my days, the cuteness factor of this toy is just unreal! Meet Juno, the interactive baby elephant from Spinmaster. Juno Wildluvs has over 150 different like life sounds and movements. You can play games with her and using her little peanut and mouse accessories, you can feed her and train her! She has so many lovely features. It’s great to see her personality unfold the more you spend time interacting with her.
She swings her trunk, bows, dances, plays music and does the cutest thing when she plays peekaboo- She covers her eyes with her large floppy ears!

There are going to be so many excited children this Christmas if they receive their own little pet Juno. Spin Master, you’ve nailed it again!

We love Fugglers. These little monsters may look really odd but I find this makes them more loveable! The weirdly realistic goofy teeth realty make me smile and my eldest thinks they are just hilarious. You get an adoption certificate as proof that you really are brave enough to adopt one of these mad loons! Oh, and quoting my son “They have a button for a bumhole!”

This fun game – Deep Dark Wood Game from Ravensburger features all of our favourite Gruffalo characters. You have to help your mouse on his journey through the woods to return home safely. Scare off hungry animals along the way with a little help from The Gruffalo! Suitable for 3 years+.

Both of my boys have been fans of Paw Patrol at one time or another and my youngest is still a keen fan. He has quite a few Paw Patrol playsets and figures but I know he would go crazy for the Mighty Jet Command Centre from Spin Master.
Now little fans can go on adventures with their favourite Paw Patrol characters. The jet has so many cool features and can also be transformed into a headquarters for even more fun. Push the button to activate lights and sounds o send little imaginations soaring!

If you are looking for a fun way to encourage your little one to brush their teeth then you may like Deeno the DEENO-SAUR toothbrush.
The battery-powered children’s toothbrush comes complete with stickers to decorate and a hatchable Deeno egg. It also has a two-minute timer and different speed settings to suit each individual user. I think this makes brushing teeth much more fun!
