I can’t believe it’s that time again where we share our likes and loves. Where is the time going? It only feels like yesterday that I was writing out our likes and loves for September!
So without further ado! Here is what we liked and loved in October.
 

Slow-Cooker Meals

The slow cooker has had some serious use over the past few weeks. This slow cooker beef stew and mustard mash was so good and just what we needed after a cold and wet day! I have many more recipes lined up that I want to try out.

*Reading

I love how much my boys love their books. We have recently been sent Poems Out Loud! Illustrated by Laurie Stansfield and published by Ladybird Books.
Poems Out Loud! Is a fab way to introduce little ones age 4+ years, to poetry and rhymes. The book encourages children to act out the poems inside and most of all have fun doing so!

*Baking Muffins

Jayden loves baking. Probably because I have done so much with him over the years. He has recently been making strawberry muffins courtesy of his Little Cooks Co box.
The Little Cooks Co are baking kits for kids that are fun healthy and easy to follow. Majority of the ingredients is provided in the box. We only needed to get fresh strawberries to complete ours.
You can choose a one-off box or set up a subscription for regular yummy kits delivered straight to your door.

I think he did quite well!

Halloween Shenanigans

As my two are still young boys, I always put on a Halloween tea with lots of snacks. I also decorate the house with this and that. We got lots of Halloween decorations from Poundland this time and they had loads to choose from.
We just need to carve the pumpkins today and then we’re ready!

Arcades

We had a lovely week away in Porthmadog and one place you have to drag the kids away from is the arcades!  They absolutely love the place, but my purse, not so much! Hehe.
The music and the colourful lights, it’s all magical when you’re that age isn’t it?! I was exactly the same when I was their age.

*Stabilo

I am notorious for buying stationery. Craig always smiles at me when we hit the stationery aisle in any shop. He just knows a part of it is coming home with us!
We have recently had a lovely delivery from Stabilo.
The metallic fibre pens will be great for the kids to get arty with on darker paper. The felt tips will be ideal for my colouring books or for Jayden’s doodling.
We also had some highlighters which I use frequently for work and these mini ones are so cute!
All of these would make lovely stocking fillers for someone who likes crafts or stationery.
