Light Stax – The Light Up Building Blocks

Light Stax – The Light Up Building Blocks

Both of my boys have always enjoyed building and construction toys. My youngest is now at that age where he can use his imagination more to create different things. When we were recently sent out the new light up Stax sets from  I knew instantly that little man would be keen to get stuck in.

Light Stax are building blocks with an awesome twist…….they light up!

Junior Classic Light Stax Age 3 Yrs+

Our Junior Classic set has 24 coloured blocks, a USB power base and a USB cable.
The power base can be powered by 3 x AA batteries which are included.

Light Stax blocks are the same size as Duplo blocks and are compatible with them too, so they can be used together which is fab.

The power base has 4 light functions. If you press the button to the front of the base it will switch between,  lights on, blinking, glowing and the shut down mode which turns the power off after 15 minutes.

There are so many things to build and once you have run out of ideas, you could always get the expansion packs for even more light building fun. Little ones could perhaps create their own bedside night light which they can then go on to change the design for every single bedtime if they wish!

I think the Light Stax Christmas edition set is adorable. You have the choice of making a Christmas tree, Santa, a snowman or a reindeer.

I can see these being very popular this Christmas and think they will make a lovely stocking filler surprise!
