Four Roses Bourbon
Four Roses Bourbon is the perfect gift for the whisky lover. It began when Paul Jones Jr., the brand’s founder, became smitten by the beauty of a Southern belle. He sent a proposal to her, and she replied that if her answer were “Yes”, she would wear a corsage of four roses on her gown to an upcoming ball – which she duly did. And today, roses feature heavily on Four Roses’ Small Batch bourbon – from the cut glass rose in the centre of the label, to the bottle resembling the shape of a rosebud when held upside down!
Available from The Whisky Exchange.

Mermaid Pink Gin
Distilled using strawberries from the island’s Arreton Valley, a rich and fertile place that receives some of the best sunshine levels in the UK. Mermaid Pink Gin from the Isle Of Wight Distillery is not as sweet as most pink gins and has no added sugar.
Mermaid Pink comes in a plastic-free bottle which is 100% recyclable. The brand is super eco-friendly being Net Zero!
Available at John Lewis, M&S and Master of Malt.

Hair Straighteners
I think hair straighteners are an essential for the majority of us, I know I would be lost without mine! These amazing José Eber HST Infrared Wet/Dry Flat Irons uses infrared light technology which tackles frizz and adds shine to your hair. I for one, suffer from frizzy hair. My hair is super thick so any straighteners that can deal with that is worthy of an award!
The José Eber straighteners have extra-wide high gloss plates that work on all hair types. You can even use them on wet hair, which is something I personally haven’t seen featured on other brands of straighteners.
You can operate the straighteners with ease by using the digital controls. Temperatures of 100 – 200 ℃ can be achieved in a matter of minutes, making those hard to tame strands of hair perfectly straight with minimal effort.

Three Month Readly Subscription with Access to over 5,000 Magazines and Newspapers
As we are spending more time at home, keeping occupied can sometimes be quite a task. I think a Readly magazine subscription from Buyagift would make a fantastic self-care present. It would give a loved one the chance to enjoy some much deserved ‘me-time’.
‘Readly gives you the opportunity to discover unlimited magazines and newspapers all within one app.
I love the huge variety of mags that Readly has to offer, all of which are popular titles. I’ve spotted quite a few of my favourites on there.
You can download magazines and read them on any device whether that be a tablet or mobile. You can even share the account with family by creating up to 5 user profiles.

Always Figurine by Willow Tree
I love the Willow Tree collection and I think they make fantastic gifts, not just for Valentine’s Day but for all occasions.
I also love how each individual figure comes with a little sentiment. The Always figurine proclaims the happiness of being loved and that love has and always will be there.
The gorgeous etchings in the stone, ( petroglyphs) where an ancient way of marking feelings in a visual way, symbolising how love stands the test of time. Just beautiful!

Love You Kloche
How adorable is this? The gorgeous tiny town decorative kloches feature characters that are no bigger than a matchstick. Each kloche celebrates something from everyday life, whether it be love, like this little fellow, sending birthday wishes or simply spreading a little cheer to someone dear.

For The Kids
I always include my children on Valentine’s Day celebrations. A little tradition of mine is to buy them a teddy bear each from Build-A-Bear Workshop. It’s just something I’ve always done and it has kind of stuck. I like how you can personalise them and buy little accessories.
You could, of course, put some goodies in a gift bag like some love-heart sweets or chocolate and a mini plush toy.
Do you celebrate Valentine’s Day?
