A little handmade gift from the children is worth a billion times more than something purchased. We had fun making this super easy Valentine’s Day photo bookmark craft. You will most probably have majority of the supplies at home already.
What you will need

Craft knife & mat
Card/Paper
Glue
Laminator & pouches
1 First cut out your bookmark shape from card, using a craft knife and mat. This one is roughly 16cm x 5cm. It’s up to you what size you would like your frames to be, mine are roughly 35mm square.

2 Jayden then picked out some pictures he would like to use on the bookmark, and we printed them off. Jayden typed out the little message on the MAC, as I think you would struggle to fit a little one’s handwriting in such a small space. We used a child-like font, to give the same effect.

3 I then cut a heart shape out of some pretty decorative paper and stuck it to the bookmark.
4 Afterwards, I cut a strip of coloured card to stick to the rear, just to tidy it up and to give it a bit of support.

5 Finally, I popped it into a lamination pouch and ran it through the laminator. When it was done I trimmed it up.

And there you have it! A thoughtful gift that costs hardly anything to make.

*We were sent some awesome crafty bits as we are part of the #Bostikblogger squad, some of which were used within this post*
Like me? Then why not pin for later?

It’s so nice to get children involved in showing love with homemade gifts on Valentine’s day. Those look like some good quality products.

Hi Jayne, shop bought Valentines stuff is not only expensive it’s a little ‘the same as’. Little handmade gifts are so much nicer. Your bookmark idea is very nice.
