With the Christmas season in full swing, you’ll be getting plenty of opportunities to don your glad rags and celebrate the holidays in style, whether it’s at your office Christmas party or at your best friend’s New Year’s Eve bash. Either way, you want to look great! Don’t just go with that same old cocktail dress that you always wear; instead, opt for something new and different this time around. Here are some stylish party dresses for women that will keep you looking pretty snazzy this holiday season!
The little black dress
For Christmas, nothing beats the classic little black dress. It’s a timeless look that can take you from the office to the party. A little black dress is the perfect way to show off your festive spirit without going over the top. Whether you opt for a flowing maxi, a midi-length skirt, or a classic bodycon, you’re sure to make a statement with your party dresses this holiday season. Accessorize with a bold necklace, strappy heels or even thigh high boots to complete the look. With a little black dress, you’ll be sure to shine like a star this Christmas!
The sequined party dress
For a touch of sophistication, go for a midi-length dress with a delicate sequin design. This dress is perfect for any semi-formal or formal event and will make you look sophisticated yet festive. If you prefer something a bit more flashy, then opt for an all-over sequin mini-dress in a bold color like silver or gold. This type of dress is great for more relaxed gatherings and will show off your festive spirit.
If you’d rather keep things subtle, consider a dress with more toned-down sequins. A black dress with tiny gold sequins will look classy and timeless. Alternatively, you can go for a pastel-colored dress with rose gold sequins for a softer touch. Both styles are sure to turn heads at any event!
No matter what style you choose, sequins will always make a statement during the holiday season. Women’s Christmas party wear is incomplete without a touch of sparkle, so make sure you add some sequins to your look!
The classic red dress
The classic red dress is a timeless choice for any Christmas gathering. This year, opt for a deep crimson colour that will stand out from the crowd and make you feel extra festive. Choose from a range of styles and silhouettes, such as wrap dresses, bodycon dresses and A-line dresses. For an added touch of glamour, opt for a lace or sequin embellished red dress.
The fur-trimmed dress
For a truly Christmasy look, why not consider a dress with a luxurious fur trim? This classic style has been making waves on the fashion scene for years, and it’s still going strong today. Whether you opt for a sleeveless shift dress with an eye-catching faux fur collar or a full-length evening gown with an extravagant faux fur trim, you’ll be sure to make a statement at your Christmas party. Pair your fur-trimmed dress with classic black stilettos, glittering statement earrings, and an elegant evening bag to complete the look. With this showstopping ensemble, you’ll be sure to have a memorable Christmas celebration!
The velvet dress
The velvet dress is a great option that adds a touch of luxury and elegance to any Christmas celebration. This fabric is incredibly soft and comfortable, making it perfect for a night of dancing or simply getting together with friends. It can be styled in various ways, from a classic cut to a more modern fit, depending on your personal preference. With its deep jewel tones, a velvet dress can easily be dressed up or down to suit any occasion. Whether you’re attending an office holiday party or an intimate family gathering, you can be sure to look festive and fashionable in your velvet dress.
Do you like dresses? Or perhaps you prefer to wear trousers/jeans for a casual look.
If I were younger, I would be interested in a new party dress for the holidays. Not really my idea of comfort at my age, but I still find pretty dresses interesting. Are you getting something new for the holidays? I enjoyed your article. #MMBC
Ti’s the season … love little black dresses – so classy and never dated
While I do love looking at all the pretty party and holiday dresses, I tend to stick to nice pants and a sweater for our events. Preferably something in red or that has a little sparkle to it.
Wish I had a fur-trimmed dress for the Xmas period!
