RTC1000 Car tyre

Ad – We received a press sample of the product in this post.

I’ve driven since I was almost 18 so I have been on the roads for the best part of 21 years! (I feel old seeing that in writing). I am lucky when it comes to anything going wrong with the car as my husband is a mechanic by trade, so he knows when something isn’t right. Although he does take care of that side of things, I still like to think that I am quite independent in maintaining the general service of our car.

I can check and top up the oil level, fill up the screen wash and I always make sure that my tyre pressures are correct. Driving with tyres that are underinflated damages the tyres and makes a big difference to your fuel consumption.

RTC1000 Premium Rapid Digital Tyre Inflator

We have had tyre inflators in the past. I usually find that they are noisy, take forever to inflate a tyre and usually only last 5 minutes before they break. This is however before I tried the RTC1000 Premium Rapid Digital Tyre Inflator

RTC1000 Premium Rapid Digital Tyre Inflator

It comes in a handy carry case that fits neatly in your boot or under a seat. It is supplied with more than enough cable to reach around your car and a handy reel to spool the cable back in after each use. There is a large, easy to read digital display, you simply set your tyre pressure and press the power button, It then inflates your tyre quickly to the set pressure and stops. The pressure of the tyre is displayed and there is a progress bar that shows how much longer it will take. There is also a handy light built in and space to store all of the different attachments.

RTC1000 Premium Rapid Digital Tyre Inflator takes up little room and is a very handy little tool to have to hand when needed.

  16. having 2 cars which are essential for work, this would be so handy to have in the event of a flattie !

  17. I’d love one of these as I’m scared of using the one at the garage and always have to rely on someone doing it for me

  18. This would be such a useful thing to have in the car; it’s about time I stopped relying on my husband to check the tyre pressure – it’s more out of general laziness rather than know how though!

  19. This looks like a handy gadget. A couple of decades ago when we lived in the UAE, we used to do a fair amount of off-roading, where you need to defalte your tyres for better grip on the sand. You’d then have to reinflate your tyres when you got back on the road again. At the time, we had to use a manual tyre inflator with a foot pump, which was quite hard work. I’d have loved an automated inflator that you could run off the car battery.

  20. This would be ideal especially for my spare tyre.. I always have a boot full of shopping when my other tyres get checked at my local supermarket garage.

  21. My Dad only last week asked me to look on the internet to buy one of these as his old one broke a long time ago. Would so love to win this for him in time for Fathers Day xx

  22. This tyre pressure inflator looks fab. I had my rear tyres replaced about 6 months ago and ever since then they seem to keep deflating. I wish I’d taken them back to the fitter as soon as I’d had them done

  23. Having a tyre inflator in my car would make it easy to check the pressure of my tyres and pump them up whenever needed. Essential kit for our regular drives to the countryside with our dog!

  24. My husband would love this; he is always checking the state of the tyres, the tread depth and the tyre pressures, he says its the only thing between you and the road and I tend to agree. In fact when we visit our son and daughter in law and he ventures outside to have a look at the cars, they get the heebie jeebies, but he’s only trying to keep them safe. Would love to win this for him, he’d be totally thrilled.

  25. I drive a Smart car which does not have a spare tyre so this would be a terrific item to own.

  26. Great for keeping tyres at the correct pressure and saving a few pounds in the process.

  27. I’d love to win this for our campervan. Save us having to remember to take the one from the car each time we go out!

  28. I need this..i’m always messing about like and idiot with the one at the local garage

  29. Last night I watched James Bond, submerged in a lake, having escaped from a sunken car, grabbing air from a tyre; perhaps your digital tyre inflator could save my life one day!

  30. This would be so handy to have! It would save the hassle of trying to find a garage with air, then trying to find a 50p! LOL

  31. This is just what I need as I get super nervous going to the garages as I never feel like I know what I’m doing

  32. I used to have something similar years ago that was very bulky and noisy – the size and design of this seems to have come a long way! They’re such useful things to have in the car.

  33. This would really come in handy in our house. My partner recently used an old foot pump to inflate his van tyre, something went wrong and the pump broke and deflate his tyre, he then had to cycle to his mates house to borrow a pump to get the tyre inflated enough to limp it to the garage! Two hours later the van was back on the road xx lol

  34. This would be perfect for my hubby – he was a scout in a former life and loves to be prepared for everything – and tyres is one thing he thinks a lot about!

  35. Great prize, wish I had one a couple of weeks ago when my tyre was slightly down and needed air – had to drive to a garage that charged Ā£1.50 for 2mins of air- ripoff

  36. A very handy gadget to have in the car, saving a lot of time and money having to find a garage to check your tyre pressure.

  37. Fantastic prize. I had a second hand one for years but it’s broken now. It came in very handy when I finished a night shift at work and came out to a flat xx

  38. This would be so useful. The machine at the garages which checks tyre pressure in my town is constantly out of order. Correct tyre pressure is so important.

  39. This would come really handy. Save me having to keep going to the supermarket to inflate my tyres.
