Good morning you lovely lot! I hope you’ve had a fab weekend.
We’ve been doing some work in the garden and dealing with yet another wasps nest. There seems to be so many this year! This doesn’t make me happy at all.
This latest nest has proved to be a little more awkward as it’s just on the entrance to our path that leads to the house so you have to pass it every time you want to go out! Not ideal.
I hope we don’t get anymore.
Feature Of The Week
This week’s feature is Ruth and her post Walking Through A Songline. I’ve said it before, but I love how diverse this group is. We are literally dotted all over the world yet we have the best friendships, even from afar. It was lovely to learn a little more about Sydney and Aboriginal Australians. We are quite the multicultural bunch and I love it!
Do pop by Ruth’s post for a read if you haven’t already.
Now it’s time to share these wonderful blogs. Have a lovely week ahead!
Let’s Get Linking Up!

HOW THIS LINKY WORKS (NEW MEMBERS PLEASE READ).
Firstly, If you are new here, welcome to our lovely group! Monday Morning Blog Club is a weekly homepage linky party for bloggers. Share your blog with our friendly bunch and get some post love. Simply link up your blog homepage below and others can choose which post they would like to comment on. Please do not link up with individual posts.
Finally, please try to comment on at least a couple of other blogs, it’s nice to be nice. I will, of course, be popping by everyone’s blog for a read over the next couple of days. It’s a great way to give your blog exposure, you will discover fab content and make lots of blogging friends along the way. Winner winner, chicken dinner!
I would also like to add, as I welcome all niches to this link-up, I can appreciate that there may be times when you feel uncomfortable commenting on certain topics. That is totally fine and you are under no obligation to comment, simply choose someone else to visit.
If you would like to share the linky love then I would be ever so grateful. You can grab the badge from my sidebar.
Thank you so much for linking up!
Ugh! Oh no! You have really bad luck with wasp nests. I hope you can get it removed as I know how much you hate those pesky things.
Thank you for hosting, have a fantastic week! x
Jayne,
I really like your Home Sweet Home site! Looks great. Have a great week and thanks for hosting,
Not had a wasps nest for years until 2022 ! Giving me nightmares
Hi Jayne, thank you so much for featuring my post, wow!! You made my week! I really do appreciate this lovely link-up that you host where everyone is so encouraging and kind. It is such a friendly community. I hope you can get rid of the wasp nest without too much trouble. Have a great rest of the week xxx
I had a wasp nest in my loft too and had to just leave it there as we couldn’t afford to get someone to get rid of it. I feel sorry for the people who moved in after and had to deal with it.
Lovely learning about the aboriginals. I hope their knowledge and cultural traditions will never be lost. I guess with Songlines, they never will. I also love how in the UK, when temperatures hit 19-20 degrees, we’re in our summer outfits but in Australia, they’re still in their autumn clothing. Very similar to the Far-east, to them 19 degrees is freezing, haha
