Morning, and welcome to this week’s #MMBC. I hope you’ve had a good weekend.
It’s been a bit of a mixed bag here. We’ve been out making the most of our National Trust membership again, visiting some lovely places and getting some fresh air. Then Sunday rolled around, and it absolutely poured down all day, so I got the Cricut out and did a bit of crafting instead.
I’ve also had a proper clear out of the boys’ clothes as they seem to be growing at a ridiculous rate lately! So that means I’ll be dragging them out clothes shopping this week… wish me luck.
Craig has his heart check-up today with the transplant team. I still can’t quite believe it will be 12 years this year since his heart transplant. We feel so grateful every single day, especially to his donor and their family. It’s something we never take for granted.
Anyway, enough from me, how was your weekend?
Features of the Week
Ruth shared a lovely post about her watches and the memories tied to them. It’s nice how everyday things can hold so much meaning.
Kim shared a really relatable post about why she feels she’s not great at giving advice. It was one of those that makes you stop and think, especially about how sometimes it’s not about having the right answer, just being there.
Have a lovely week, you beautiful lot! x

Thanks so much! So lovely to hear from another transplant recipient. Happy Easter, Pat. 💛
I am glad you are enjoying your National Trust membership. We also had a strange weekend. Saturday was beautiful and then it rained yesterday. Today is looking good. Glad to hear Craig is well x
The weather is crazy at the moment. Hope you are all OK. Stay safe xx
My weekend was good, although I didn’t enjoy the clocks changing and would quite like my hour back please!
I’m off to the opticians today for an eye health check as I’ve been having trouble with my eyes. I hope Craig’s heart check-up goes well.
Aw, thanks Lisa. Yes, the clocks going forward was rubbish! 🫤
Hope your eye test goes well and you get the help you need.
Weekend was a nice chilled one,i must invest in a National Trust Pass
It sounds like a good weekend apart from all the rain. It was dry here until late afternoon and then it came down hard. Good luck with the shopping!
I hope Craig’s check up has gone well. Sending love and hugs.
Thank you for the mention! I sometimes think that I might have gone crazy over the last couple of years without you just being there listening to me rant. lol x
Thanks for sharing!
Happy Anniversary to Craig and your family! A day to be celebrated and grateful for! So happy for your family! As always, thanks for the party. We missed last week – thanks to the stomach flu! So glad to have that behind me now! Have a wonderful week, Jayne!
Good luck! I hope the check up goes well. I need to take my youngest clothes shopping soon too; luckily out of the 3 he tends to be the easiest to go shopping with.
