Monday morning blog club cup of tea 1

Hi and welcome to this week’s #MMBC. I hope you’ve had a lovely weekend. I’m feeling much more relaxed this week as I’ve now submitted my 3000-word essay for uni. Relieved doesn’t even cut it! It’s taken up a huge chunk of time so everyday life has been a little bit harder, but we still managed and Craig has been absolutely amazing from helping with dinners to taking the kids out so I could study and crack on with my essay.
We get no help, so we do a pretty amazing job between the two of us.
We are off work this week so it’s going to be a time of rest and recharging the old batteries! Hope you have a good one.

Also, I know some of us were celebrating Mother’s Day yesterday, I hope you had a lovely day! And sending big hugs to those who are missing their mum.

Feature of the Week

There are two features this week as promised with me being a little behind on comments.

I enjoyed catching up with Amila and her post – Feeling Cards from McDonald’s and a Library Visit. Quality time with family is the best and it was nice to see a snippet from Amila’s day out with her lovely son.

Catherine shares so many fab children’s books on her blog and I really liked the look of – What’s Wild Outside Your Door? by Peter Wohlleben & Belle Wuthrich. It’s right up our street as we like to get outside as much as we can. This is also perfect for home ed’ or extra-curricular learning alongside school.

Please do pop by for a read of their posts if you haven’t already.

Now it’s time to share these wonderful blogs. Thank you so much for linking up and I hope you have a fab week!

  1. Well done on submitting your essay, I remember those days so well. I would be up until the middle of the night while working on mine. It was always a huge relief once submitted but then the wait for the score was really tense. We didn’t have e-mails back then either so I had to wait for the post! Thanks for hosting #MMBC

  2. I am glad to hear that you could finish writing your essay for the university. Writing 3000 words take more time. But, it is worth doing it.
I was away from the blog for 2 weeks due to some tasks and I am back now. Thanks for visiting my blog and also for featuring my post in this MMBC.
    Have a great week ahead!
