Morning, and welcome to this week’s #MMBC. I hope you’ve all had a good weekend. Happy belated Mother’s Day to my US friends, too.
We made the most of the lovely weather yesterday, and the kids were out in the garden pretty much all day. Craig and I ended up sat outside too, and I started a new audiobook instead of reaching for one of my actual books. It was really nice just sitting out in the sunshine listening for a while.
I’m also busy, prepping for my eldest turning 16… which honestly doesn’t feel possible. Where has that time gone?! He’s also recently had his Crohn’s meds changed, so we’re keeping an eye on how things go with that over the next few weeks. He deals with his condition really well, bless him.
And then we’ve got Craig’s long-awaited appointment a week today, to see if there’s been any change in his heart function. It really can’t come quick enough.
Anyway, enough waffling from me, let’s get into this week’s link-up.

Ruth shared a really fun recap of Tokyo DisneySea and Tokyo Disneyland. I loved reading about all the rides, snacks and magical little moments from the trip. It looked like such an amazing experience.
Kim shared a really funny post about her most controversial food opinions. I found myself agreeing with most of them, but … pineapple on pizza is definitely wrong. Just leaving that there.

It sounds like you all had a lovely day yesterday. It was sunny here but quite chilly.
How is your boy turning 16? I still think of him as a little one. They grow up far too fast! I hope all goes well with the change in medication.
I will be keeping everything crossed for Craig and that his appointment goes well.

My “baby” turns 28 tomorrow and I’m feeling all the feels! I’m guessing you are in your “feels” too, having an almost 16 year old in your midst! Enjoy the preparations and the birthday celebration to come!
