Sylvanian Families by EPOCH Making Toys are such timeless classics. I remember them well from the 80s, they were a big part of my childhood.
We have kindly been sent the new Sylvanian Families Husky family which are the cutest! Along with the lovely Sweet Store playset. My youngest has been testing them out.
Sylvanian Families Sweets Store
The little Sylvanian Sweets Store is just adorable. It comes already assembled leaving only the stickers to apply and the paper gift boxes to build.
What you get with the playset-
- 1 x sweets store
- 1 x display stand
- 3 x plates
- 1 x can of chocolate
- 3 x lollypops
- 3 x cupcakes
- 5 x cookies
- 3 x waffles
- 4 x gift boxes
The sweet store is a fab addition to an existing Sylvanian Families collection.
We decorated our shop with the included stickers and I assembled the little paper boxes that the figures can hold their shopping in.

The miniature food sweet treats are colourful and very realistic. I love the little iced biscuits and cupcakes. I will say they are teeny tiny so please bear this in mind when little ones are playing with them. I was actually considering glueing ours to the plates so they don’t get lost (which is inevitable in our house).

The figures which you see featured are the new Husky family. The set includes Father Vincent, Mother Avril, and triplets Rae, Drake and Nelly.
These cute little ones are all wearing matching hoodies and come with a sleigh that other figures can pull along.

What we love about Sylvanian Families –
- Encourage imaginative play
- Develop fine motor skills
- Improve hand-eye coordination
- Help to grow social skills
- The choice to expand an existing collection
- They are a refreshing break from screens

I loved my Sylvanians as a kid! I kept so much of it for my children, and they still play with it now 😀
Amazed that these little toys are still popular in the age of technology. The children had a few when they were very young and enjoyed them. A huge range to choose from.
Looks lots of fun!
I used to love Sylvanian Family toys. We could never afford them though.
We are huge Sylvanian Family fans and still have our treehouse. The sweet shop looks adorable – a perfect Easter gift!

Oh these are so adorable. I have a massive sweet tooth so I love my sweets. I think this will appeal to me more than the kids to be fair. I can’t believe I haven’t heard of Sylvanian families until I was in my late twenties. Once my kids are old enough, I would love to get them their first set
