We are all cheese lovers in our house so when we were delighted when asked to try a delicious selection from Applewood Cheese.
The cheese bake goes perfectly with homemade bread.
You can heat up the cheese bake in the oven or the microwave.
It has a very rich smoky taste and a pasty like texture. We all thought it was very different to other cheese snacks because of its distinctive taste, it’s very morish. Chilling infront of the open fire with a glass of wine is my ideal way to eat this. It was straight down the hatchet for the men! Grandad liked to spread it on his bread and hubby liked to dunk his. A very tasty snack.
Next up, nibbles. Smoke flavoured cheesy cubes. I thought these would be pretty good for parties as snack foods on skewers etc, or maybe mixed in with a salad.
Monkey (The food critic) had a taste of the nibbles, I think he was a little undecided whether he liked them or not. I think perhaps the smoky after taste was a little over powering for him.
Just a shame I am on the diet wagon! I could of easily scoffed a few of these beauties!
And finally the spreadable cheese.
You can have this hot or cold, perfect for sandwiches or warmed up for a topping on pasta or a yummy coating for a burger perhaps.

I love Applewood smoked cheese, but haven’t heard of these products. I’m going to have to go out and get some now, they look yum!
