I don’t know about you but I am always happy to find out ways no matter how small, to help save money. So I was excited to have recently been introduced to a company called Approved Food

Approved Food specialise in goods that have a near or just past, best before date. All of their goods are fit for consumption and damn bloody cheap! I was given £30 to spend on the online store and I must say, you get a huge amount for that.

Approved Food Delivery

As you can see by my mountain of goodies, it is all major leading brands products and only costing a fraction of what you would pay in a supermarket.  As Approved Food purchase their surplus stock from companies that have left over stock, the availability of products varies daily.

Our order came well packaged and glass bottles and jars were bubble wrapped to protect during transit. We were kept in the loop all through the order process and was provided a tracking link to see when our package was due to be despatched.

There are some awesome deals, I got a drinks deal for £1.99 and would have cost me £6.59 if purchased in store. A pack of 4 kitchen rolls cost only 59p. You can save some serious money on things that you buy regularly.

The sweets are an absolute steal, so if you have kids then perhaps it maybe worth using Approved Food for topping up your treat box/jar.

Overall we were really impressed with our delivery and the service we received was absolutely bang on.

We saved £30.39 by using Approved Food so quite an impressive saving there. Well worth a browse when you get the chance.

*We were kindly gifted £30 to spend at Approved Food, all thoughts and opinions are my own*

  1. I’ve never heard of them but they sound great. For the coming summer holidays they could save parents a fortune on the cost of treats. I think they are also a great idea for those who might be a bit less well off than other families as that’s huge savings you had!

  2. I’ve heard so much about Approved Food – I really should look into it, as it sounds like the perfect way to save some pennies 🙂

  3. Wow! What a bargain. I keep hearing good things about approved foods, never tried them though as I can’t have that many treats in the house or I’d put them all ??

  4. I’ve never heard of Approved Foods. We have a ‘no sugar’ rule at our house (for medical reasons), but I’ll definitely use them when we’re having parties and at Christmas. x
