Sicily
You are probably familiar with the Italian islands and their splendour, so the fact that Sicily is the first option should come as no surprise. Like visiting the amusement park Gardaland that has rides and shows for all ages! And once you’ve had fun at the park, visiting the famous lake Garda and the towns all around it (like Sirmione or Lazise) visit the famous Romeo and Juliet balcony in Verona. Veneto is a very romantic destination, but it is also ideal for families looking to find some stunning natural beauty, and gorgeous architecture.
Lazio
Home to the Italian capital of Rome, Lazio is a fantastic option to look at for your holiday. It goes without saying that Rome is not only one of the most travelled to locations, but it is also one of the destinations with most age-related activities. Not only do you have outside attractions to visit (like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and Trevi fountain) you also have the museums around the city! A fun museum that your little ones will definitely love is the Explora museum that has interactive exhibitions in every different field ranging from science, all the way to grocery shops! As well as Rome there are plenty of small surrounding towns, lakes and wonderful landscapes if you feel the need to escape the city.
