When I was a kid I remember my brothers having the classic Rubik’s cube. They would play for ages, seeing who could solve the puzzle in the quickest time. I was too young and could never fathom it out! If only there was a junior version.
The New Rubik’s Junior Range
Now there is just that! John Adams has released a new Rubik’s junior puzzle range that children as young as 4 can solve. There are four different characters; A bear, a puppy, a kitten and a bunny. They are bright and colourful and just the right size for little hands to hold.

They are really fun fiddle toys that help to develop logical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Each cute character can be turned several ways, before trying to return the puzzle to its original shape. It is much easier than the original Rubik’s cube as there is only a handful of mix up possibilities, enabling it to be solved in just a few turns.

I see these being the perfect boredom buster. Ideal for popping in your bag and taking along with you when out and about. They could come in handy for all kinds of situations. Brilliant to hand out to the kids if you are planning eating out as a family. They can fiddle with these whilst you wait for your food to be served. They would also break the monotony of a long car journey too. This list is endless.
We think these junior Rubik’s characters are brilliant and hope that there will be plenty more different designs to come!
The above are available at all good toy stores including Argos, Smyths, Toys R Us and Toymaster.

These are so awesome !!!!! I think my youngest would love one. To be honest I’d like a go too! I never managed to workout the original cube ! These are a great idea for sticking fillers too !!!
These are so cute and such a good idea for little ones.
A guy at my university could complete a rubix cube in under 3 minutes… I never managed more than one side! These are a great alternative for little ones. Perfect for those natural sequencing talents hidden away in the next generation.
These look like such fun! I loved Rubiks cubes when I was a kid – although I never managed to finish one!
Oooh, we have these! They are such great fun! 🙂 The kids love them.
