A robin taking a break on a tree stump

Happy Monday and welcome to this week’s #MMBC. I hope you’ve had a good weekend and managed to stay safe in storm Darragh (for those of us here in the UK).
We lost our front gate which almost ended up in the canal! And a tree came down across the track leading up to our house, but we were lucky compared to some nearer the coast.

We’ve also ditched BT over the weekend! We’re now using Starlink for our internet provider and oh my God, it’s a game changer. If you live in a rural place and your broadband is shitty, then look into satellite internet, it’s worth every penny.
Work is going to be so much easier now I don’t have to put up with crappy speeds!

Feature Of the Week

This week’s feature is my lovely mate Kim and her post – A visit to York Christmas Market! Grab a cuppa and pop over to Kim’s blog for all of the Christmassy feels!

Thanks so much for linking up and thanks to my lovely readers for checking out these fab blogs. Have a great week! x

  1. We lost a few fence panels in the storm and a couple more were damaged. My dad and brother are coming this afternoon to help fix the fence.
So far Sky broadband has been good for us but my dad had loads of issues with BT. They said it was because he was out of the way which isn’t good. I’ve not heard of Starlink before.
Thank you for the mention. York was such a great day out. I’m already planning to go again next year. x
