As a family of four, we often get into the car and head off somewhere for the day. And with two little ones in tow,  means lots more baggage, spare this and spare that, pushchairs and everything else that mini people need.  Obviously with having two littles in the back, I don’t want to stack anything that could potentially be hazardous to the kids and tumble over the top of the seats, so thats’s why we use our Travall Guard in the car. And to stop our huge cuddly Newfoundland wanting to climb over the back seats to join the kids!

Travall Guard To Suit BMW X5 £135.00

Custom Fit

What I like about the Travall guard is that it is unique to every model of car, so not like some of the universal ones that you can buy. We have previously owned one of those and was unimpressed with the fit. I think this one is so much better as it guarantees a secure fit. It took my husband around ten minutes to fit our guard. I was really impressed how sturdy these things are too. They are definitely built to last.

Placing An Order

The order process on the website was very simple. I was prompted to choose my model of car, the series, how many seats etc and the year. It then shows you the results of the products to suit your car. As they also do a divider that can be joined up to the guard. Prices vary depending on what model you require the guard for.

Who Let The Dogs Out

gracey

It is perfect for when we take out Gracey, our not so little Newfoundland girl. It not only stops her trying to sneak over the back seats but also from slobbering in the kids hair! (she slobbers lots)
It doesn’t take up any extra room and of course keeps Gracey safe and comfortable on our journey.

The Travall guard gets a big thumbs up from us and will be kept in the car ready for our next adventure!

  1. What a great idea! We also often head off on our travels and having a small car, it sometimes feels like the clampets are off on holiday with all their worldly possessions! I worry about things falling onto the kids, too, so really like this!

  2. Haha, we are like the clampets whenever we go anywhere too!
They are perfect for us mums who have to take the whole house with us (just in case we might need it) 😉

  3. Fabulous idea especially with all the stuff you have to cart around when the kids are little. Poor Gracey doesn’t look too impressed though – how gorgeous is she? #MMBC

  4. That’s a great idea. I have to admit we have a manufacturers one for our Land Rover but have never used it up to now. However, it’s coming out of the garage soon for when we trek down to Portugal with our German Shepherd in tow.

  5. This is such a good idea. I think it’s a must with a dog especially if they’ve been for a muddy wet walk and you don’t want the whole car a mess x

  6. I really need one of these as we take the dog in the car quite a bit and it would be so much safer for all of us with a guard x

  7. A great idea and piece of equipment, especially if you are driving for your holiday its great to keep it all separated and a perfect piece of safety equipment too
