We love Bonfire Night and especially all of the yummy warming snacks, such as hot jacket potatoes and cups of creamy hot chocolate too!
As we are Bostik family craft bloggers, we were given a challenge to make something for Bonfire Night so we decided on a Bonfire!
What you will need
X5 Toilet roll tubes
Brown paint
Bostik white glu
Paper plate and black paint or black card cut into a circle.
Orange and yellow tissue paper
Pipe cleaners
Glitter glue pens
And any additional sparkly bits to decorate
We started off by cutting a large circle out of A4 black card. You can use a paper plate if you wish and paint it black. We then painted the toilet roll tubes/logs brown.
Once dried we used our Bostik white glu to stick the rolls to the card.
Once set, we shaped our tissue paper like flames and put them into place in-between the logs. And then decorated with silver tinsel, pipe cleaners and glitter pens.
And there you have it one awesome Bonfire for Bonfire Night! Now all we need is some toasted marshmallows…………………….
Perfect!
You can add a couple of battery powered tea lights behind the flames like we did. Then you get a cool flickering flame effect.
Remember to keep safe this bonfire night.

What a fun craft idea I love the effect that the lights give it.
Aw what a delightful little craft. It already looked good in the fully lit pic but then in the dark with the night lights it looks ace! I think even I could attempt this with my little ones!

I love this idea. My son has physical disabilities but I think he would be able to help with this. I am planning to use this idea at one of our home education groups. The addition of battery operated tea lights always brightens the enthusiasm of us all!
