Kids really do say the funniest things, don’t they? I have seen a few interview-type posts on other blogs and thought I would sit down with my 5-year-old for a little interview.
We had a few laughs and it’s something we can look back on in years to come.
Here’s how he got on…

Interview with Monkey

What is your favourite colour?
Blue.

What makes you laugh?
When I pump.

What is it like being a big brother?
It’s cool Mommy, I love my baby brother.

What’s your favourite dinner?
Spaghetti bolognese.

What’s your favourite movie?
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, mmm chocolate,
can I have some chocolate please Mommy?

What would be a really cool pet?
A pet dinosaur, rahhhhhhhhhh!

What makes you sad?
When Nanny comes to my house and puts my things in different places and this makes them all lost!

Do you like Formula 1?
Yes, I like it lots. I watch it with Daddy.

Who is your favourite driver?
Lewis Hamilton.

What do you want to be when you grow up?
A policeman or a Formula One driver or I could just go on adventures and things.

Chocolate or Sweets?
Sweeties and don’t forget doughnuts Mommy, I love doughnuts with cream in them.

Cars or Dinosaurs?
Cars and dinosaurs. I just can’t choose because I love them both.

What is your favourite song?
Bruno Mars – Uptown Funk (This then cues him to start singing and dancing, so we had to get through the whole song before we carried on with the interview).

Spiderman/Batman?
Spiderman.

What makes Mommy happy?
Kisses. (he then kisses my cheek and giggles)

What makes Daddy happy?
A cup of tea.

Who is your best friend?
Grandad.

Who is handsome?
Me.

Yes, you are son hehe. My mini me is so funny he really does have me in bits. Have you tried this with your little one/s? I’d love to read them.

  4. Lol, sounds like someone is not impressed with Nanny moving stuff around! How adorable that he loves his baby brother and love the moment when he gave you a kiss on the cheek mid-interview.
