Hi everyone and welcome to this week’s #MMBC. I hope you’ve had a relaxing weekend. We had a pretty full-on weekend again with workmen doing the front door this week. It is so much warmer now the windows and door have been replaced but I am looking forward to a weekend when I don’t have to get up at the crack of dawn. I am flagging a bit now. I think I may have to call in a lazy afternoon and catch up with a book or two this week (after a fully booked week of work!).
Feature Of The Week
For World Mental Health Day, this week’s feature is our lovely Kim and her post – Our mental health! #Blogtober22. It’s so important to open up about mental health. Having suffered from anxiety myself I know all too well how things can creep up on you.
It’s OK to not be OK, and there is always help should you need it even if it doesn’t feel like it at the time. Things can and will get better.
Please do pop by Kim’s post if you haven’t already.
Now it’s time to share these wonderful blogs. Have a lovely week ahead.
Let’s Get Linking Up!

HOW THIS LINKY WORKS (NEW MEMBERS PLEASE READ).
Firstly, If you are new here, welcome to our lovely group! Monday Morning Blog Club is a weekly homepage linky for bloggers. Share your blog with our friendly bunch and get some post love. Simply link up your blog homepage below and others can choose which post they would like to comment on. Please do not link up with individual posts.
Finally, please try to comment on at least a couple of other blogs, it’s nice to be nice. I will, of course, be popping by everyone’s blog for a read over the next couple of days. It’s a great way to give your blog exposure, you will discover fab content and make lots of blogging friends along the way. Winner winner, chicken dinner!
I would also like to add, as I welcome all niches to this link-up, I can appreciate that there may be times when you feel uncomfortable commenting on certain topics. That is totally fine and you are under no obligation to comment, simply choose someone else to visit.
If you would like to share the linky love then I would be ever so grateful. You can grab the badge from my sidebar.
Thank you so much for linking up!
Thanks for hosting. I read Kim’s post as well. It is inspiring.
Happy Monday!
Have a brilliant week all
Mental health awareness is so important
I’ve suffered with Mental Health nearly most of my adult life,so it’s very important to talk about it x
I am so glad we’re in a generation where we can speak up about mental health. Sadly in a lot of families like mine, it is still a taboo subject. My parents are not ones to judge but they rather just ignore it and not talk about it. In the past, having a mental health problem in my family was a sign of weakness. My mum used to be anxious about people and my aunt used to make fun of her and my mum herself would just brush it off. She would never admit she had anxiety and she was trying to appear strong. But thanks to Mental Health day, people talking about it and other projects to make people aware, it is now beginning to be okay to not be okay.
I had a lovely weekend of not doing much. I hope you get a lazy afternoon or two this week.
Thank you for sharing my blog post. It is much appreciated and thank you for hosting. x
Great links as always especially the mental health one. We dressed in yellow at work and so did my daughter at school for mental health awareness day, it should be talked about more.
I am so glad this is part of conversation now
Lazy afternoon sounds a good plan!
