I don’t know about you, but I am ready to write this year off. What a year it has been! And for that reason I am determined to make this Christmas the best one yet. In fact we have already been getting festive at the Moonpig virtual event on Zoom!

Christmas shopping made simple with Moonpig

The Moonpig App

To kick the party off we had an introduction to the Moonpig App with thanks to Jasper.

Sending friends and loved ones a card couldn’t be more simple. First you need to download the Moonpig App and login/register your account.

The app has lots of cool features. You can now personalise the cards with your own handwriting! Just write down your message on a piece of paper, then take a photo which will upload it to your chosen card. I think this is a great touch, especially as a lot of us are confined to our homes with the current situation. It makes the card that little more personal to the recipient.

You can also use the AR feature which allows you to preview the size of the cards. And if you don’t get to finish your order, perhaps you get distracted by the kids like me, well that’s OK because Moonpig remembers what’s in your basket so you can pick up where you left off at any time.

Gifts Galore

There are so many lovely gifts to choose from too. Moonpig flowers are just beautiful and the bouquets are absolutely brimming, you certainly get good value for money. I love fresh flowers in the home, they seem to cheer the place up and we can all do with that right now.

I was very kindly sent a beautiful bouquet of flowers which had a lovely Christmasy vibe. There were warm shades of red with winter berries and the roses were so plump and pretty.

The Moonpig winter bouquetAfter the flower arranging master class with Roxanne, I took my bouquet and arranged it in the oasis. I really like the cute galvanised tub, it gives the arrangement a lovely rustic look. What a lovely display to look at while I work away at my desk.

With Christmas just around the corner you will most probably be stocking up on good food and drink too. Moonpig have a fab selection of spirits. In fact we had a cocktail making master class with Mix and Twist. And let’s face it, a good cocktail always makes us feel like we are on beach enjoying some lovely weather in the Mediterranean somewhere. We all need something to keep us hopeful while we deal with the pandemic and if that is a bottle of your favourite booze then so be it I say!
