A tv, popcorn and remote control. What we've been watching this month on TV.

I can’t believe we only have 8 days to go until Christmas! We are so excited here.  I’m really liking this colder weather as well, as it means we get to snuggle up in front of the TV with a hot chocolate after our walks!
Here is what we’ve been watching so far this month.

Christmas movies! – Sky

Yes, as soon as the Christmas section comes on Sky I am all over it.  We’ve watched The Christmas Chronicles, Elf: Buddy’s Musical Christmas, the remake of The Grinch and am definitely going to be watching the box set of Home Alone’s! We love getting cosy as a family watching Christmas films and eating too many selection box choccies!

Mrs Maisel – Prime Video

I really enjoyed the last two seasons of Mrs Maisel and I wondered if the third season would be quite as funny. I have only watched the first three episodes at the moment, but there are laughs-a-plenty as Midge takes Suzie on tour with Shy Baldwin. Love this so much!

Vikings – Prime Video

Vikings is back on Amazon Video for its last season! I love Vikings and have watched it since the very beginning. Season six is just as awesome as the others and the amount of storylines that are going on draws you into the show and completely absorbs you. I could watch this all over again and not get bored of it.

Escape To The Chateau – Channel 4

I must admit I was a little late to the chateau party! I only really sat down to appreciate the series this year and have binge-watched my way to the current season. I love how Angel designs her own motifs and then has fabric printed with her own designs to match her decor. It’s given me loads of ideas for our own home too.

The Grand Tour Presents: Seamen – Prime Video

The Grand Tour is set to return shortly with its fourth season and they have released a one-off special called Seamen. In this special episode, they trade four wheels for sea fairing boats. They then make a 500-mile journey from Cambodia to Vietnam. I think these three are hilarious and Craig finds it pretty cool that his wife is a fan.

The Walking Dead – Sky

We have really enjoyed season 10 so far. I think the show started to get a bit stale a couple of years ago and was not really looking to the next season. I am so glad that we stuck with it though, they have revitalised some of the characters and the introduction of the whisperers brings back the sense of dread from the first four seasons. Bring on the second half of the season because we can’t wait!

Stu loves Vikings. I’ve never seen it. Yep! The first part of season 10 of the Walking Dead was so much better than the last couple of series. I am hoping Carol is the one to kill Alpha. x

I felt the same way about The Walking Dead as well but am enjoying season 10 again now. For anyone that likes true crime I would recommend I Love You, Now Die and The Staircase.
