We are big fans of Harry Potter in our house. I have lost count of the times we have all cosied up on the sofa and watched the Harry Potter movies back to back. I don’t think you could ever get tired of watching them. Jayden already has a few Harry Potter themed toys and was so excited when he was sent a fab new Wizard Training Wand!
Hermione Granger Wizard Training Wand Age 8 Yrs+
First, you might want to make sure that you have some batteries at home as this wand takes 3 x AAA batteries (not included). When holding the wand it feels sturdy and well made. You turn the wand on and off with the small switch on the handle.
You get a spell card included where you can learn all of the 11 spell symbols with the wand.
There are 5 different modes to play. Each are activated by the five curved buttons on the handle. The cast button can be found below the mode buttons. The modes are as follows –
Spell Training Mode
Spell Practice Mode
Training Spells Mode
Wizard Tag
Free Play Mode
You can play with the wand by yourself or challenge a friend with their wand and see who can cast the most spells. The wand can sense movement and will make sounds as you cast your spell. The sounds vary depending on if you get the spell correct or not. The buttons on the handle also light up as you play. Our wizard training wand is Hermione Granger’s and there are also other characters wands available.
