It’s that time of week again for Knowing Me Knowing You Aha! Our weekly series where we feature a blogger or reader who share ten random facts about themselves. Some can be quirky, some can be down right crazy! Did you catch last weeks feature? Emma From Even Angels Fall.
This week sharing their ten random facts is Lynn and Glasgow With Kids.
1. I never leave the house without lip balm, chewing gum & sunglasses.You never know when you’ll need them.
2. My crappy TV guilty pleasures are Millionaire Matchmaker, Catfish and Storage Wars.
3. I love cooking elaborate meals & baking things I need to spend time on. I never have time though.
4. I am learning Gaelic. I started in a wee cafe near my house just as something to do of an evening. I totally fell in love with the language. The cafe closed but I kept learning.
5. I have been with my husband for 17 years. We got married when I was 30. That was 5 years ago.
6. I love music. Rock, folk, country, punk, soul, R&B, blues, classical, electronic. So many kinds. One of my favourite things is finding a new song that I love. I frequently irritate my husband with whatever my new favourite song is (by playing it on repeat for days…)
7. I’m a Glasgow girl. I love it here: the people, the night life, the day life, the buildings, the humour, the vibe. Everything. Glasgow makes me happy. I love going away and I’ve lived in other places a few times, but I always come back. It’s home. I wouldn’t live anywhere else.
8. I’ve always wanted to live in a lighthouse.
9. I hate staying in the house during the day. It’s my favourite thing to do in the evening though. (Apart from eating out & going to the cinema!)
10. I love dancing crazy to really loud music in the kitchen. With or without my kids. I have a special playlist just for this – it’s the best form of stress relief ever. If I pass any daft trait onto my kids, I want it to be this.

I love this series, really interesting finding out about other people’s quirky habits. Shame about the guilty TV prgrammes 😉 although Storage Wars is very addicting.

Your music tastes are very similar to mine. I’ll happily sit and listen to all different genres. When my iPod is on shuffle mode it will often play a modern country song followed by some heavy metal, and my family thinks it’s crazy 😀
