Morning, and welcome to this week’s #MMBC! And hello, October! I can’t quite believe we’re here already.
I wanted to give you a little update on Craig after his hospital stay last week. He’s now had all of his tests and the transplant team have decided not to put him forward for a second heart transplant just yet. His new medication is doing a good job of keeping the CAV under control at the moment, and his heart function has actually improved a little too. Because of that, they feel the risks of another transplant right now would outweigh the benefits.
Should his health deteriorate, the team are ready to put him straight onto the transplant list, so we’re taking all of this as a big positive. For now, we carry on doing what we’ve always done, living life, enjoying what we have and taking each day as it comes. So thank you for keeping Craig in your thoughts last week. It really is appreciated.
Well, we’ve got a really busy week ahead, but I’m looking forward to a couple of fun days we’ve got planned to go out and just enjoy some family time, and no stress included!
