Hello and welcome to this week’s #MMBC! I hope you’ve all had a lovely week and weekend. We had a nice day yesterday celebrating Father’s Day. Craig had a lovely day and was thoroughly spoiled by the boys. We also popped over to see my dad with his presents.
I know Father’s Day can be a mixed bag of emotions, though. If you were missing your dad, thinking of someone special, or a father who found the day a little difficult, I hope you got through it as gently as possible.
Other than that, it’s been one of those weeks that seems to have flown by. The days are disappearing faster than the biscuits in our house, and I’m still wondering where half of June has gone!

He passed the day before Australian Father’s Day in September, so it is always a double wammy kind of day. Thank you for the link up!

I lost my dad 25 year ago so i find Fathers Day hard,but i got out with family and had a good day x glad you had a good day too

I lost my dad 51 years ago, it’s seems almost unreal now but I remember the day as if it were yesterday. I missed so much. The kids went out for the day with their Dad which was nice and they all had a great time.

Jayne, thanks so much for another great visit and link-up. My own Dad has been gone for the last 58 years of my life. My brothers and sister and I usually offer our own memories of Dad that each of us has. As well as honoring him, but posting his photo on FB for the day. I have here recently taken the time to learn about his service in WWII by reading his discharge paperwork and seeing where his Navy ship was during those years. Have a great week ahead, and take care.
