Hallway Refresh: Door Curtains Don’t Have to Be Boring

Hallways are funny spaces, we walk through them all the time, yet they never seem to get the love they deserve. When we moved into our house, I realised how much the entrance sets the tone for the rest of the home. Ours is actually quite big, which sounds lovely in theory, but it’s also meant it’s felt a little underloved and, if I’m honest, a bit bare while we’ve been focusing on other rooms.

Because our hallway is fairly spacious, I didn’t want to fill it with lots of furniture or clutter it up with decor bits, just for the sake of it. That was a big factor for us because our front entrance can be a little draughty, particularly on colder days.
