Peppa Pig Activity Play Mat Review

 
My youngest has so many favourite TV programmes but one that he is particularly fond of is Peppa Pig.  So when we recently received a Peppa Pig playmat, Joben couldn’t wait to play with it!

Once we pulled the mat from out of the box the first thing I noticed was how colourful it was. The unit on the mat takes 3 X AA batteries which are not included. If your house is anything like ours, we always stock up on batteries as majority of the kids toys use them. After they were installed we turned it on. You will be pleased to know that you can adjust the volume!

Learning Through Play

I like how the mat helps build communication and listening skills, as a couple of the mini games prompt little ones to complete various tasks. It also helps numbers and colour recognition by asking if you can find them on the mat.

Joben played for quite some time with his mat. His favourite mode is sing a long. He is really into musical toys at the moment. He has a lot of toys such as interactive teddy bears where you press the paw and they sing along, so the sing a long mode was perfect for him. He has already started to sing little snippets of the songs.

The mat has a wipeable surface too so ideal for wiping crumbs up or perhaps pop spillages as little ones play. It folds up to hardly anything at all so you could take it along with you.

I think for just £19.99 the Peppa Interactive play mat is very good value. It would make a lovely Christmas gift for all little Peppa Pig fans.
