Happy Friday! Welcome to this week’s Knowing me Knowing You. If you missed our last feature then you can catch up with it here – Mimi Rose & Me. This week sharing 10 random facts about themselves is Nicola who blogs over at Mummy To Dex.

My 10 Random Facts
1 I was born in north Wales which technically makes me Welsh, but neither my parents nor grandparents are, so I count myself as English.
2 I have a small obsession with an ex-footballer (and manager) called Dennis Wise. I used to collect pictures of him out of the paper when I was a teenager and on the way home from a school trip to France, I bumped into him at Watford Gap. Greatest moment of my life up to that point!
3 I also had an obsession with Alan Rickman when I was younger and had a coaster with his face on that I used to bring to school. (I was a weird kid alright?!)
4 I’ve known my best friend for 13 years this year. Sometimes we go months without speaking, but when we do, it’s like we’ve never been apart. #friendshipgoals
5 I started my blog nearly a year ago. I never thought I would keep up with it this long. I was really reluctant to go self hosted as I thought it would be a complete waste of money. Wrong!
6 I live in a two bedroomed apartment overlooking the river Mersey and Prince’s dock in Liverpool. It was perfect before we had Dexter, but now I just hate it. There’s hardly any space and all I want is a garden for him to run around in.
7 There’s nothing I love more than getting into a good box set and watching it night after night. I try not to binge watch several episodes in a row because I think it’s important to digest it. It’s more enjoyable that way. I’m currently watching The Leftovers. Highly recommend it.
8 I was dreading giving birth to my baby and didn’t want any photos or videos or people looking down the business end and now it’s all over and done with it, how I wish I had some photos to look back on that remarkable day.
9 I am an only child which I think made me very mature as a youngster.
10 I spent a year living in France in 2006. I drank a lot, that’s pretty much it. I can speak French now as well I guess.
Thanks for sharing your 10 facts Nicola. I love a good box set too!

I love finding out more about other bloggers – great to get to know Nicola a little better! I’m off to make sure I’m following her across her social now.
My hubby spent a year in France when he was younger and is fluent as a result, something I’m secretly jealous of. And I admire how you try to digest boxsets. We can’t help but get through them. We’re 8 episodes away from completing all 8 series of House and if we didn’t have our son we’d be watching all 8 episodes remaining over this weekend!
living on France sounda fab. ps I’d love to take part in this x
I have two children born in Wales, they both consider themselves Welsh even though their parent, grandparents and every ancestor I have ever found are English or Irish!
I used to love Alan Rickman too but never carried a coaster of his face to school lol but I think I would have done if I had it lol.
Alan Rickman was amazing. I was so sad when he died.
That’s a nice list of facts. Alan Rickman was always cool but carrying a coaster to school is pretty unusual!
Great read – great insight thanks
